Yes. On the Master Report, Supplemental Approval sits on its own line under Initial Approvals. Each row is one project, with its PO, its name, and three totals: Supplementing + Estimating, Appraisal and Total Non-Payable.
Supplement tracking for insurance claims: supplement money counted apart from the first approval
On most insurance roofs the carrier pays more than its first estimate, after rot under the shingles, a second layer or a code item turns up. In CRM For Claims that extra approval is entered as supplement money, so you can see how much of the month's approvals came from supplements and on which projects.
One example roof claim, approved money
$24,190
- Initial approval$18,400
- Supplemental$3,250
- Appraisal$1,900
- Non-payable$640
The amounts are made up. The four kinds are how the reports below group them.
Five invoice types for supplement money, sorted by what they do to the balance
Supplemental ACV, Supplemental Recoverable Depreciation and Supplemental PWI are invoice types of their own. They sit next to the original ACV, depreciation and PWI types, so a supplement never disappears into the first number. Two more supplement types record money the office should not chase from the carrier.

Appraisal money has the same set of types: Appraisal ACV, Appraisal Recoverable Depreciation, Appraisal PWI and the two non-payable ones. How these types fit with the deductible, retail payments and expenses is explained on claim invoicing built on the insurance estimate.
Insurance invoice types wait for the claim number
Until the claim number is filled in, the invoice form offers only the retail types. A supplement therefore always lands on a project whose claim number is on record. The warning carries a link to the claim screen of that project.
What that claim screen holds, from the deductible to the appraisal and umpire tabs, is on insurance claim tracking.
The Additional Supplements report, column by column
The report answers the owner's question at the end of a month: how much supplement and appraisal money did we get approved, and on which jobs. It lives with the other reports on the KPI page.

- The Additional Supplements report has a From and a To date and opens on the current month.
- Each row is one project, with its PO, its name, and three totals: Supplementing + Estimating, Appraisal and Total Non-Payable.
- The chevron at the start of a row opens the invoices behind it, with invoice number, date, type and amount.
- Only approved invoices count, by the issue date entered on the invoice. A supplement still waiting on the adjuster stays off it until its invoice is marked Approved.

The same supplement in three reports, and the date each one counts by
A supplement approved in March and paid in May can land in different months depending on which report you open. Knowing the date each one counts by is what lets the March total and the May deposit both be right.
Master Report
On the Master Report, Supplemental Approval sits on its own line under Initial Approvals. That line is dated by the day the invoice was created in the CRM and leaves out invoices with the Not Payable Amount Exception.
Balance Sheet by Payment Type
Balance Sheet by Payment Type filters by status (Approved, Pending or Denied) and by invoice type, and one of its choices is All Except Non Payable. Each type shows its share of the total in percent and its dollar amount, with a pie chart and a column chart above the table. The report can be printed.
Project Reports
The Project Reports page of a single project breaks its paid insurance income down by invoice type. For one job, that shows the supplement next to the first approval once both are paid.
The other reports on the KPI page, and the date rule behind each, are laid out on claims CRM reporting.
Approved on paper, never going to be paid
Sometimes a carrier approves an amount that will never reach the company, for example when part of the approved scope is dropped from the job. Left alone, that invoice keeps a balance and keeps showing as money owed.
The Not Payable Amount Exception sits under Exceptions in the invoice window. Applying it sets the invoice balance to zero and adds a line to the invoice memo. The invoice stays on the project as a record, and the approval lines of the Master Report no longer count it.
How a supplement gets approved in the first place, and why a verbal yes from an adjuster is not yet money, is covered in the article on insurance claim supplements and approvals. Invoicing is on the Professional plan.
